Though Spark is intended to be a measure of quality, inclusion on this list does not necessarily constitute endorsement from the Center on Early Learning, The Research Institute, or Western Oregon University.
The ratings on this list are updated on a monthly basis.
SAFETY IS OUR PRIORITY
The Child Care Safety Portal is a resource for parents and families to find the most up-to-date information about licensed child care programs in Oregon. You can use the portal to search for a child care provider and view their licensing history over time. Licensed programs receive annual external monitoring to ensure they comply with Oregon’s child care licensing rules, and any issues are listed in the portal.
Not all programs are required to be licensed by the Department of Early Learning and Care (DELC). In those cases, families are encouraged to ask the program directly about the measures they take to meet basic health and safety standards and ensure the well-being of children in their care.
The Finding Quality Child Care Guide highlights key indicators of quality programs to help you choose the best care for your child.
