Spark Data
Spark, Oregon’s Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS), is a system that relies on research and analysis for continual quality improvement. The Center on Evaluation, Technology, and Research (CETR) conducts research aimed at improving the quality of all Spark systems, including internal operations and outward technical assistance. CETR regularly collects and analyzes data from participating programs and is committed to providing the most up to date information to partners and stakeholders.
One way of doing this is by producing Oregon DataFacts. These reports reflect Spark participation statewide and include the number of children in Spark rated programs, number of programs by designation and rating, the type of programs involved, as well as a breakdown of each county’s participation.
